Then the outer layer is wrapped with J-20 self-adhesive tape, and the lap amplitude is half of the bandwidth. Length should exceed the yellow silk belt at least 100-150mm, the number of layers is not less than 6.After the three phases are done. They are arranged into a circle, then wound into a circle with self-adhesive tape as described above, and finally wrapped with plastic anti-wear tape, with a lap amplitude of half the bandwidth, and a lap amplitude of half the bandwidth. The length should exceed the self-adhesive tape at least 150mm, the number of layers is not less than 3.

The intermediate joints I made in this way have been soaked in water for about 3 months with no problems.

2. Waterproof treatment steps of low-voltage cable middle joint:

1) Wrap waterproof filler around terminals after crimping them. Shrink the heat shrink tube.

2) If it is generally slightly humid environment, wrap waterproof packing tape on both ends of the cable respectively, and shrink the protective sleeve (both ends of the protective sleeve must be equipped with adhesive).

3) If the environment is harsh, it is necessary to use self-adhesive waterproof tape to strengthen waterproof (you can also use heat-shrinkable waterproof tape, we generally use self-adhesive tape, heat-shrinkable tape is used for cable damage repair). The method is as follows: A. After filling the waterproof filling glue, wrap a layer of self-adhesive waterproof tape around the outer layer of the filling glue or elongate the self-adhesive waterproof tape around multiple layers, but the thickness should not be too thick, so as not to cause the insulation tube to not be covered. B, put the heat shrinkable tube on the glue and shrink well. C. Wrap waterproof tape around both ends of the heat shrink tube, and then wrap a layer of self-adhesive waterproof tape. Wrap waterproof tape and self-adhesive tape around both ends of the cable insulation sheath, and then heat and shrink the protective tube.
